Infore Archives has been created for the long-term storage of information, by integrating the best technologies and competence.

Infore Archives (Baltic Digital Archive AS) was established in 2010 as a joint investment by Archyvu Centras UAB and Net Group OÜ,  and offers digital archiving services. In cooperation with the subsidiaries of Archyvu Centras, we are represented in all three Baltic countries through paper archive centres. We offer a comprehensive service package and digital archiving solutions.

Our goal is to make sure that the information entrusted in our care is preserved and accessible for the entire duration of the storage period, regardless of social or technological changes. We invest in the development of both technology and human resources, as it is our aim to create the biggest and most comprehensive centre of excellence for digital archiving in Europe.

THE TECHNOLOGY

We use state of the art technology for data archiving – the internationally recognised Centera solution by the EMC corporation. Centera guarantees the audited preservation of data during the agreed period and the guaranteed erasure (’destruction’) of data once the preservation period expires.

We use the Infore Enterprise Archive archiving software, which is based on a multi-tier service architecture and was created by Infore’s development team. This application provides simple, archiving-specific tools for structuring an organisation’s digital archives and for importing and processing the data. The Infore platform also allows you to interface applications directly with the archive’s business logic layer, via various web services, which reduces the amount of everyday manual tasks in the creation and administration of the digital archive.

Given the constant technological advances, we analyse and apply the latest technologies on a daily basis, by incorporating internationally recognised components in Infore’s products and services.
