A vast amount of data is added and stored in organisations’ databases every day. Experts predict that the total volume of databases will multiply each year, given the constant increase in data volumes. Infore Archives has developed a system for the digital archiving of databases. The data will be preserved for the required period, whereas the data can be updated regardless of the particular database platform used.

Although Infore is working on developing a standardised solution, database archiving is usually a customised service, with its exact nature and future design defined in cooperation with the customer.
