Infore Archive Manager PDF Print

Infore Archive Manager 3 is based on the Infore Enterprise Archive 3 platform, but has been optimised to traditional archive administration needs. The biggest difference compared to the IEA3 platform is that it is not possible to load digital files or use the web services.

The aim of the application is to provide a contemporary tool for the administrators of traditional physical archives, so that they can manage the archive topography and carry out other archiving procedures.

Key features:

  • Customised configuration of the archive topography. The customer can determine the level of complexity of the system. The application provides the tools for creating a hierarchical topography. It is also possible to define various association relationships between the items, to link to standardised data types, and to group items.
  • Description of physical archive. In addition to the digital archive design, it is possible to define the repository, shelf, cabinet, desk and box logic for faster data retrieval. This kind of structuring facilitates the relocation of the archives, since the items do not have to be described again, one by one. All you have to do is equate the location in the old archive with the location in the new archive, and the information is automatically modified in all archive items.
  • Numbering and bar-coding of archive items. With this system, you can create a numbering logic of any complexity for the unique marking of the archive items. To facilitate the retrieval of the correct item/ document from the archives, it is possible to use machine-readable bar-codes.
  • Administration of requests for archive items. The solution allows regular users to use the archive application to search for necessary documents and to submit retrieval requests to the archivist. All requests are registered and logged.
